Job Responsibilities

Team with an experienced virtual RN (vRN) and a bedside RN to provide excellent patient care to patients in an acute care setting.
Collaborative planning, coordinating, and delivering quality care to medical, surgical and telemetry patients that are acutely ill, as well as those recovering from post-operative procedures.
Facilitate best practices to deliver quality care through the identification, implementation and evaluation of nursing interventions and communication of results to the healthcare team.
Provide education to patients and their families on medical and post-surgical care.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Superb interpersonal, communication and collaboration abilities
Competency in electronic patient management systems

Preferred Skills

At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting
Certified MS-RN in nursing recommended
ACLS recommended

Requirements

Experience: At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (BSN preferred)

License & Certification:

Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse
BLS certification required (issued through the American Heart Association)
