Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient-centered continuum of care.
Ability to communicate variances from patient goals and advocate on behalf of patient.
Maintain accurate and timely healthcare records.
Administer medications to patients, provide education and monitor for efficacy and side effects.
Assess, monitor, report and record patient condition and pertinent changes.
Design, implement and evaluate patient nursing care plans with healthcare team.
Educates patients and family throughout stay and in preparation for discharge.

Preferred Skills

BSN or MSN preferred
At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting

Requirements

Experience: At least 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (with requirement to obtain a BSN within a specific time frame)

License & Certification:

Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse
BLS certification (issued through the American Heart Association)
