Job Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Director of Nursing and covering when the Director of Nursing is not in the facility.
- Creating a safe, healthy work environment that supports the delivery of high-quality resident care.
- Creating a culture where highly engaged team members are able to contribute to the best in resident care and to grow professionally.
- Assuring the best resident care by supervising and directing Nursing Personnel.
- Serving as a liaison for all nursing staff and nurse management.
- Making decisions regarding nursing and unit problems.
- Attending and supervising wound rounds weekly.
- Participating in facility surveys.
- Communicating effectively with staff, physicians, and resident’s families.

Requirements
Experience: Long-term care experience is a must.
Education: Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
