Job Responsibilities
- Demonstrates acceptable performance while applying the nursing process.
- Plans and manages care of routine patients, including patient and family education.
- Communicates fundamental patient and family information to the healthcare team.
- Identifies and communicates variances from patient goals.
- Responsible for providing and coordinating interdisciplinary patient care utilizing the nursing process.
Required Skills

- Current knowledge of nursing skills and practice
- Computer and audiovisual skills
- Ability to retrieve and interpret data
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize
Preferred Skills
- Basic professional nursing degree (BSN or MSN) preferred

Requirements
Experience:
Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN or MSN preferred
License & Certification:
- Current license from Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State as Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association
- High Risk Perinatal Center - Inpatient OB certification for exam-eligible RNs
- NCC EFM certification for RNs in Labor & Delivery, High Risk Perinatal Center, and Float Pool E
