Job Responsibilities
- Achieve patient goals by creating and maintaining a safe environment for patients undergoing procedures while anesthetized or sedated.
- Deliver quality care and optimal patient outcomes in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Provide high quality nursing care through patient assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Use sound nursing judgment, critical thinking skills, and interpersonal communication skills to ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Adhere to AORN Standards of Practice, ANA Standards of Practice, JCAHO Standards, National Patient Safety Goals, and Patient Bill of Rights.
- Document care and services in accordance with American Nurses Association Standards of Clinical Practice.

Requirements
Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in OR Nursing preferred.
Education: Graduate of a School of Nursing.
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
