Applies Performance Improvement (PI) methodology to enhance ambulatory care services.
Stays current on quality trends and advancements in ambulatory care.
Prepares and presents PI reports for committees and external benchmarking.
Conducts focus studies to assess process stability, patient outcomes, and organizational goals.
Investigates incidents, complaints, sentinel events, and citations; develops corrective actions.
Participates in quality improvement projects, recommending and implementing corrective actions.
Prepares variance reports for leadership, physicians, and staff.
Elevates patient-specific issues and concerns to appropriate leadership and committees.
Utilizes technology and databases for reporting, presentations, and documentation.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience: 1-3 years clinical experience including general knowledge of QM principles, NYPORTS and JCAHO requirements.

Education: BSN nursing degree, required.

License & Certification:

Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
Specialized certifications as needed
OR current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State
OR current Licensed Registered Physician Assistant by New York State Department of Education
