Job Title: Campus Dean of Nursing - $10k Sign-On Bonus

Position: Higher Education Nursing Leader

Pay: $100k - $110k base salary + $10k Sign-On Bonus + Annual performance bonus

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate direct reports, including nursing faculty, clinical coordinator, and director of simulation.
  • Ensure compliance of nursing program with State Board of Nursing requirements.
  • Prepare and complete annual and required reports and data for the Board.
  • Notify the Board of any substantial changes as outlined by the rules and regulations of the State BON.
  • Represent the nursing program at meetings of appropriate bodies, including the Board of Nursing.
  • Submit information for preparation of the annual operating and capital budget.
  • Provide leadership to faculty in preparation for the accreditation self-study.
  • Prepare and maintain statistics related to program outcomes.
  • Maintain records relevant to the program.
  • Manage direct reports including conducting 1:1s, Quarterly Check-Ins, Performance Management, and offering Training and Development.
  • Notify direct manager and appropriate corporate stakeholders of all legal issues.
  • Notify manager of any personnel changes at management level.
  • Provide positive leadership to build employee morale.
  • Supervise the Clinical Coordinator position and ensure accountability for clinical coordination.
  • Collaborate with faculty and facilities in evaluating appropriateness of clinical facilities and curricular experiences.
  • Oversee the Health and Safety Orientation for students about to progress to the Core.
  • Manage the hiring process and coordinate the orientation and onboarding of faculty.
  • Guide faculty on academic issues in the development of various ATI methodologies.
  • Develop faculty workload schedules and ensure office hours and committee service are fulfilled.
  • Prepare and manage the Core Nursing Orientation for Level 5 students.
  • Provide advisement for students and resolve student problems.
  • Coordinate activities related to student admission, retention, progression, and graduation.
  • Facilitate textbook and media selection process.
  • Recommend purchase of supplies and equipment for support of the nursing program.
  • Chair monthly meetings of the nursing faculty and serve on various committees.

Requirements
