Job Responsibilities

Fill in as the interim Director of Nursing in one of the North Shore Healthcare facilities as needed.
Plan, organize, direct, supervise, and evaluate all nursing services provided in the center.
Ensure nursing department compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Implement Center nursing core programs.
Maintain records and reports concerning resident care.
Orient and train nursing services personnel.
Manage the Nursing department within budget.
Follow all Center policies and procedures.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the state of assignment
Demonstrated success in Nursing leadership position (at least 3 years)
Good financial and management skills
Basic computer knowledge and aptitude to learn company applications
Ability to relate positively and effectively with residents, families, and staff
Polished communication and presentation skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in a fast-paced environment
Interest in working with long-term care residents and the elderly

Requirements

Experience: At least 3 years of demonstrated success in Nursing leadership position

Education: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with the state of assignment
