Job Responsibilities
- Oversee onboarding and orientation for new clinical staff
- Develop, schedule, and facilitate ongoing in-service training and competency checks
- Ensure compliance with state and federal training requirements
- Partner with department leaders to identify staff education needs and performance gaps
- Maintain accurate training records and competency files
- Conduct wound assessments and provide evidence-based wound treatment
- Monitor healing progress, document findings, and update care plans
- Collaborate with providers, therapy, and nursing staff on wound prevention and treatment strategies
- Lead facility-wide pressure injury prevention initiatives
- Educate staff on proper skin care, turning schedules, and wound-related protocols

- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (CMS, state survey guidelines, infection control)
