Job Title: Certified Nurse Midwife
Position: Full-Time Midwife
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: Competitive Compensation (Dependent on experience)
Shift: Rotating 4 hour Saturday office every 6th week, 24 hour (7AM-7AM) call shifts, Approximately 5-6 shifts per month

Job Responsibilities
- Provide 'full scope' midwifery services
- Provide gynecological, contraceptive, prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and primary healthcare
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status by taking health histories and performing advanced physical examinations
- Perform testing, refer to physicians as needed, write prescriptions, and perform medical procedures within the scope of expertise
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to establish diagnoses and develop treatment plans
- Conduct admitting assessments, inpatient care, and coordinate discharge planning with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
- Schedule return appointments for follow-up care according to best practice standards
- Reassess and modify care plans as necessary to achieve health goals
- Consult with other specialties and disciplines to meet all health care needs of patients

- Illinois Professional Registered Nurse License
- Advance Practice Nurse License
- Certification by the American College of Nurse-Midwives (AMCB)
- Certificate Maintenance Program with AMCB
- DEA License
- Controlled Substance License
- Current CPR/NRP certification
