Successfully complete the 12-month Nurse Residency Program (NRP).
Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation) in clinical care.
Provide patient and family centered care consistent with population specific characteristics.
Coordinate care through effective partnerships, ensuring care is individualized.
Document safe quality patient care and promote the professional care delivery model.
Participate in inclusive interdisciplinary communication methods.
Support performance improvement activities and participate in shared governance.
Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments.
Serve as a preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses.
Promote evidence-based practice and nursing research.
Participate in the development of protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes.
Proactively plan for patient care across the continuum.

Experience: Less than 1 year of RN experience

Education: Diploma from an accredited/approved school of nursing; Bachelor's Degree BSN preferred
