Provide and supervise direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age-specific groups.
Utilize the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating) in achieving the goals of the nursing department.
Adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all applicable local, state and federal regulations.
Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain relationships that are respectful to all.
Complete timely assessments per Practice Guidelines including physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Make appropriate decisions, interventions, and nursing diagnoses based on patients' actual or potential health conditions.
Set measurable and achievable short and long-range goals for the patient and assist in the development of individualized plans of care.
Prioritize and complete follow-up assessments, evaluate and modify plan of care as needed.
Demonstrate ability to assess and interpret diagnostic data relative to patient age and condition.
Follow strict infection prevention precautions and adhere to medication safety standards.
Promote exceptional patient experience through effective communication and therapeutic relationships with patients, families, and visitors.

Experience:

Education: Graduate of a school of nursing

License & Certification:

Current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Life Support Certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP) per specialty/unit requirements
