Position: Support nurse leadership in planning, development, and execution of facility education for clinicians.

Job Responsibilities

Support nurse leadership in planning, development, and execution of facility education for clinicians.
Support the onboarding and orientation of newly hired registered nurses.
Facilitate career development and effective internal clinical communications.
Serve as a liaison between all disciplines by effectively communicating, educating, and problem solving.
Proactively support the quality and continuity of services throughout the healthcare systems.
Assist in resolution of systems issues and enforce facility/unit/department policy/procedures and standards of care.
Coordinate oversight of quality, risk management, safety, and nursing standards.
Act as a role model and resource for providing quality patient care and maintaining clinical competency.
Collaborate with Clinical Education to coordinate and support the onboarding and precepting of newly hired nurses.
Develop and coordinate system and facility initiatives to promote clinical career development and lateral nurse pathways.
Lead and implement facility clinical initiatives.
Participate in the improvement of national nursing quality indicators and outcomes.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor's degree in nursing
Additional related education and/or experience

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of one year experience in an acute care hospital setting.

Education: Associates degree in nursing.

License & Certification:

Current, valid RN license in state of practice
BLS certification

Schedule:

Weekends and holidays required
