Perform and accurately document physical, psychosocial, and emotional assessments.
Anticipate patient's and/or patient's family needs and expectations to develop an appropriate plan of care.
Utilize critical thinking skills in planning and prioritizing nursing care.
Identify and implement appropriate nursing interventions based on completed assessments.
Complete accurate and timely documentation of nursing interventions.
Act as an active coordinator of the interdisciplinary plan of care.
Confer with all members of the health care team in a collaborative manner.
Report changes in condition and take follow-up actions as appropriate.
Evaluate implemented interventions and modify care according to evaluations.
Adhere to hospital and Department of Nursing policies and procedures.
Provide appropriate and timely answers and education to patients and caregivers.
Welcome and orient patients and families to the unit.
Participate in evaluating data for unit/department budget formulation and implementation.
Perform peer evaluations to provide constructive feedback.
Participate in multidisciplinary quality and practice improvement teams.

Experience: 1 year of RN experience

Education: Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program
