Job Title: Experienced Clinical Nurse - Outpatient Pediatrics Child & Adolescent Center (7:30a - 6p)
Position: Nursing position for pediatric and adolescent hematology/oncology patients
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: minimum: 68000, midpoint: 105000, maximum: 142000
Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with rotating day off and some on-call for weekends and holidays

Job Responsibilities
- Provide care to pediatric and AYA hematology/oncology patients
- Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and immunotherapies
- Participate in daily unit operations to achieve financial goals
- Provide quality and fiscally responsible patient care
- Anticipate patient and family needs in collaboration with the nursing team
- Utilize available materials responsibly for direct patient care
- Practice autonomously within the scope of professional nursing practice
- Participate in change initiatives and demonstrate loyalty to the team
- Foster peer relationships and participate in coaching and mentoring
- Provide exemplary nursing practice and contribute to innovation and improvement
- Comply with regulatory standards and foster an environment of change
- Engage in problem solving to meet unit goals and improve patient outcomes
- Contribute to staff evaluations and professional development
- Build relationships to improve patient and family outcomes
Required Skills

- Strong clinical nursing skills
- Knowledge of pediatric and oncology care

- Proficient in patient care technology
Preferred Skills
- Certification in oncology or specialty area
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Experience in performance improvement projects
Requirements
Experience: Two years of relevant clinical nursing experience preferably in Pediatrics or Oncology
Education: required: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing, preferred: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing
License & Certification:
- Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
