Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate the mission of Metro Community Health Center to ensure delivery of quality patient care.
- Provide direct clinical support to an assigned provider.
- Function as an EMR champion.
- Implement a patient-centered approach to all care.
- Administer to the needs of patients while following the scope of practice and standards of care.
- Utilize the nursing process to ensure quality and cost-effective healthcare.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Provide health and wellness education to individuals and groups.
- Assist providers with direct patient care and procedures.
- Administer immunizations and injectable medications.
- Coordinate care for patients with chronic diseases.
- Assist in the education and training of staff.
- Attend meetings related to quality assurance and patient care.
Required Skills

Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Experience managing patient/customer situations

Requirements
Experience: 3-5 years acute and/or outpatient medical nursing experience preferred
Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred
License & Certification:
- Current, state RN license
