Job Responsibilities
- Respond to clinical referral information with care and expertise, addressing inquiries and requests with a compassionate touch.
- Partner closely with Clinical Director to assess eligibility and suitability of clients for specialized hospice services.
- Coordinate care while providing comfort and support for patients to ensure their quality of life.
- Deliver nursing care rooted in proven principles and techniques to ease pain and bring solace to patients.
- Educate and empower patients and families, encouraging their participation in creating personalized care plans.
- Share the responsibility of call duties, exemplifying commitment to being available during critical times.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse
- One year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting
- Computer proficiency in typing and various programs including EMR
- Current CPR certification if required by state
Preferred Skills
- Hospice experience
