Job Responsibilities
- Provide patient care for complex and fragile patients as well as those who prefer low intervention births.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team, including maternal fetal medicine providers, neonatologists, and pediatric surgeons.
- Support programs such as maternal cardiac and fetal surgery.
- Participate in Shared Governance committee.
- Adhere to AWHONN staffing standards.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current Oregon State Registered Nurse License
- BLS and NRP certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
Preferred Skills
- 1-2 years experience in a high risk obstetric labor & delivery unit
- Fluency in Spanish or other languages
- Inpatient obstetric or advanced fetal monitoring certification
- Surgical circulating and scrub experience
Requirements
Experience: 1-2 years previous experience in a high risk obstetric labor & delivery unit preferred.
Education: Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing Degree or Associate's Degree in Nursing for internal applicants.
License & Certification:
- Oregon State Registered Nurse License
- BLS certification
- NRP certification
Schedule:
- Night shift only; no rotations between night and day shift.
