Job Responsibilities
- Utilizes the nursing process to promote and restore patient's health status.
- Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Provides physical and psychological support to patients, family members, and significant others.
- Supervises assigned team members.
- Guides data gathering, assessment, nursing judgment, intervention, and evaluation of human responses to health problems.
- Establishes positive rapport with patients and families.
- Promotes patient's independence by establishing care goals and providing education.
- Serves as patient/family advocate.
- Maintains continuity among nursing teams through documentation and communication of needs.
- Identifies and responds to dynamic situations using reasonable clinical judgment.
- Adheres to infection-control policies and protocols.
- Documents all patient care activities accurately and timely.
- Ensures operation of nursing supplies and equipment.
- Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.

Requirements
Experience: None, but post-graduation experience preferred for Critical Care, Medical/Surgical, Intermediate, and Emergency Department units.
