Job Title: RN | Ortho/Neuro/Surgical
Position: Registered Nurse at Monument Health
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $34.00 - $42.50 (Determined by the knowledge, skills, and experience of the applicant.)
Shift: 36 hours per week, includes night shifts or occasional irregular hours

Job Responsibilities
- Collects comprehensive data pertinent to the Healthcare consumer’s health and/or the situation.
- Analyzes the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or the issues.
- Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the Healthcare consumer of the situation.
- Develops a plan that prescribes strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
- Implements the identified plan and ensures patient progression along the plan.
- Coordinates care delivery.
- Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Provides consultation to influence the identified plan, enhance the abilities of others, and effect change.
- Evaluates progress toward attainment of outcomes.
- Enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
- Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
- Collaborates with patients, families, and others in the conduct of nursing practice.
- Integrates research findings into practice.
- Considers factors related to safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice in the planning and delivery of nursing services.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Registered Nurse (RN) certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Clinical practice skills
- Ability to coordinate care

Preferred Skills
- 5+ years of Registered Nurse experience
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of Registered Nurse experience preferred
Education: Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (within 60 days of hire)
