Job Responsibilities
- Supports the manager in enhancing the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and service administration.
- Assists with interviewing, selection, and supervision of nursing personnel.
- Coordinates communication through staff meetings and huddles.
- Collaborates with manager for compliance with federal and state laws and healthcare regulations.
- Rounds on patients, teammates, and physicians to assess care and satisfaction.
- Delegates care elements to appropriate healthcare workers based on legal or policy guidelines.
- Assists in identifying expected outcomes for continuity of care.
- Evaluates progress towards goal attainment and shares information with teammates.
- Performs nursing care, assists with treatments, therapies, procedures, and medications.
- Manages patient flow and staffing through assessment of volume and acuity.

Requirements
Experience: Minimum two years nursing experience preferred.
Education: BSN required. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
License & Certification:
- Current RN licensure in appropriate state
- BLS required
- Professional certification within 1 year of eligibility
