Job Title: Clinical Nurse, Outpatient - Stem Cell Transplantation Center
Position: Clinical Nurse in the Stem Cell Transplantation Center
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: minimum: 68000, midpoint: 105000, maximum: 142000, currency: USD
Shift: 8 hrs. Monday-Friday varied shift between 7:30am - 6:00pm (30 min lunch)

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and implement patient care across the continuum of care.
- Provide quality, evidence-based patient care through appropriate use of resources in collaboration with the inter-professional team.
- Act as a patient and family advocate to uphold patient rights.
- Organize and prioritize work of patient care team.
- Train, coach, and assist team members to ensure optimum patient care and efficient use of resources.
- Participate in daily unit operations to achieve financial goals by utilizing resources effectively and efficiently.
- Anticipate patient and family needs in collaboration with Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse Leader, and Nurse Manager.
- Utilize available material resources responsibly for direct patient care.
- Practice autonomously within the scope of professional nursing practice.
- Participate in change initiatives and foster peer relationships.
- Evaluate performance of clerical and clinical staff and provide feedback to management.
- Participate in assessing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating safe and effective patient and family care.

Requirements
Experience: Three to five years of acute care, hematology, or medical/surgical clinical nursing experience preferred.
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing; Bachelor's Level Degree preferred.
License & Certification:
- Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
