Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care

Position: Pediatric Critical Care APP

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $62.44 - $96.34 per hour

Shift: Rotating schedule including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts; averaging 3 12-hour shifts per week.

Job Responsibilities

  • Care for pediatric patients (newborn to early adulthood) in pediatric intensive care and cardiovascular intensive care units.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Formulate plans of care.
  • Conduct procedures such as insertion of endotracheal and chest tubes.
  • Manage ECMO and mechanical circulatory support devices in a critical care environment.

Required Skills

Core Skills

  • Clinical experience in pediatric intensive care
  • Ability to work at the top of scope of licensure
  • Participatory skills in plan formulation and care management

Requirements

Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience in a pediatric intensive care unit.

Education:

License & Certification:

  • Utah license as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
  • Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Utah State Controlled Substance License
  • Federal DEA Certificate II through VPALS
  • BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers

Schedule:

  • Full-time rotating schedule including day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
