Pay: $86,800 to $98,700

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the clinical operations to support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure a seamless, efficient clinic experience for both patients and staff.
  • Establish regular and active participation in huddles, staff meetings, and the Quality Improvement Committee.
  • Review existing SOPs and identify clinical workflows for potential improvement.
  • Shadow all clinical roles (RN, MA, volunteers) to understand workflows and patient flow.
  • Gain proficiency in ATHENA EHR (documentation, clinical indicators, patient outcomes reporting).
  • Conduct 1:1 introductions with all clinical staff and volunteers.
  • Participate in orientation and welcoming of new volunteers while establishing channels of communication.
  • Perform informal performance observations of nursing and MA staff to identify strengths and development needs.
  • Assist with safety drills or compliance-related activities.
  • Ensure timely resolution of patient complaints involving clinical issues.
  • Lead the implementation of workflow improvements in various clinical processes.
  • Achieve compliance with documentation standards in ATHENA.
  • Participate in Quality Improvement projects with measurable outcomes.
  • Complete formal mid-year performance reviews with clinical staff and develop individual professional development plans.
  • Reduce clinical staff turnover rate.
  • Ensure compliance with medication dispensing processes.
  • Represent the clinic in community outreach or volunteer recruitment events.

  • Understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare operations
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse and at least 1 year of experience in a leadership role.

Education:

License & Certification:

  • Active CT or NY Registered Nurse license
