Job Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing services focusing on quality patient care in a clinic setting.
- Engage in direct care of clinic patients, including assessing, coordinating, triaging, evaluating, and delegating work to patient care team members.
- Educate and consult with patients, families, physicians, and staff on appropriate nursing interventions.
- Screen, communicate, and respond to patient needs appropriately, managing patient flow for adequate care time.
- Delegate tasks to other caregivers as permitted by license.
- Greet and prepare patients for the practitioner.
- Provide patient mobility assistance as necessary.
- Obtain and record vital signs and relevant patient information.
- Administer medications through various routes as ordered by the provider.
- Start IVs, maintain, and administer IV fluids/meds as directed.
- Inform patients of lab results and manage prescription calls under supervision.
- Educate patients on follow-up and referral information.
- Prepare, clean, and sterilize instruments, maintain equipment, and keep exam rooms orderly.
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures as per training and established protocols.
- Ensure patient privacy and comfort during exams.
- Instruct patients on sample collection and other tests.
- Participate in ongoing education, meetings, and professional development activities.
- Triage and respond to patient phone calls using approved protocols.

Requirements
Experience: One year clinic RN experience or 2 years of acute care experience preferred.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Graduate of accredited nursing school required; BSN preferred.
License & Certification:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification
