Position: Leader in our facility responsible for overseeing patient care and supervising nursing staff.

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day patient care.
- Supervise, direct, and develop nursing staff.
- Report to the Director of Nursing to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state regulatory standards.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assist in maintaining resident care standards.
- Supervise and direct activities of subordinate nurses.
- Receive physicians' instructions regarding resident care.
- Ensure orders are transmitted to other units as needed.
- Oversee delegation of nursing and therapeutic procedures.
- Make regular patient rounds to observe and assess residents.
- Evaluate the quality of care provided.
- Ensure proper documentation of treatment and nursing observations.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current R.N. license by State
- Experience in long term care or with geriatric population
- Clerical ability to read reports and utilize data accurately
- Skill in organizing and planning programs
- Ability to manage personnel and provide nursing services
Preferred Skills
- At least two years nursing experience
- One year supervisory experience
