Job Responsibilities

Provides leadership and management for the trauma service at the facility.
Assures optimal care for injured patients while meeting regulatory requirements.
Responsible for daily operations of the trauma program.
Achieves standards related to quality care, patient satisfaction, and fiscally responsible care delivery.

Requirements

Experience: Five years of trauma program, emergency and/or critical care nursing experience required; Two years of previous leadership experience preferred.

Education: Bachelor's in Nursing required; Master's Degree preferred.

License & Certification:

RN license in the state of Utah required
BLS through the American Heart Association required
Trauma Nurse Core Course Required (or within 24 months of hire)

Schedule:

Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally.
