Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a mentor to staff in problem solving, decision making, and planning activities.
- Facilitate nursing orientation and internships by collaborating with educators.
- Lead hospital or system committees, task forces, or teams.
- Demonstrate accountability by independently completing projects on time.
- Monitor nursing-sensitive indicators and staffing effectiveness outcomes.
- Assist with policy development and practice guidelines for evidence-based care.
- Pursue opportunities for personal growth and development through meetings and educational programs.
- Lead in Magnet journey and oversee nursing care delivery models.
- Develop and promote change initiatives to enhance care delivery.
- Ensure regulatory compliance standards are met, including KPI benchmarks.
- Manage change effectively regarding department issues.
- Promote customer service and assess staff education and competency.
- Assess patient safety needs and maintain a safe work environment.
- Engage in recruitment and retention strategies.
- Contribute to staff growth and development plans.
- Maintain open and effective communication among caregivers.
- Achieve excellent patient, physician, and employee satisfaction scores.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to address patient/family complaints.
- Provide oversight of operational and capital budgets for assigned departments.
- Facilitate effective scheduling of staff to meet patient needs.
- Monitor staffing productivity and evaluate patient care requirements.
- Participate in the development of new programs and services.
- Monitor regulatory compliance and patient safety initiatives.

Requirements
Experience: 5 Years hospital management experience required
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree in healthcare or business related field preferred.
