Job Responsibilities
- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
- Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs.
- Report changes in patient condition to supervisor and/or physician as appropriate.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Participate, implement, and update the nursing care plan.
- Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment to achieve expected outcomes.
- Recognize changes in patient needs requiring intervention and implement care.
- Comply with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Utilize infection control measures that protect both staff and patients.
- Educate the patient and family regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
- Maintain knowledge of competencies related to the nursing profession through continuing education.

- Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting

Requirements
Experience: Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
License & Certification:
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
Schedule:
- Full-time, part-time, or PRN; flexible scheduling
