Job Responsibilities

  • Manage, direct, and supervise clinic staff in daily operations for adult and pediatric services in the outpatient setting.
  • Coordinate services to maintain continuity of patient care and workflow efficiencies.
  • Provide guidance, motivation and direction to assigned staff, including participating with orientation and continuing education.
  • Ensure staff maintain accurate recording and tracking of essential clinical functions (i.e., Nursing QA/QI, EMR documentation, correspondence, incident reports, consents, orders/referrals, etc.).
  • Collaborate with other management team leaders to assure positive patient experiences or service recovery as needed.
  • Ensure efficient clinical workflows, collaborating with billing/coding related to daily clinic visits, new product licensure, and ongoing patient issues.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services on operational issues such as committee involvement, project management functions, policy and procedure, budget, resource management, communications, and QA/QI/PI planning, implementation, and outcome evaluation.
  • Partner with the Director of Clinical Services to develop and achieve Center Goals that reflect the organization's mission and values.
  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Clinical Ladder and IHI goals as assigned.

Required Skills

Core Skills

  • Recent knowledge and experience in a direct patient care setting.
  • 5 years of progressive clinical management experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.

Requirements

Experience: 5 years of progressive clinical management experience.

Education: GED or High School diploma required; BSN required.

License & Certification:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Automobile insurance
