Job Responsibilities
- Follow care plans from physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and compassion.
- Record all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care accurately.
- Teach patients and families about disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively
Preferred Skills
- Previous pediatric, home health, or public health experience
- G-Tube, trach, & vent experience
- Current BLS and negative TB test
Requirements
Experience: Previous pediatric, home health, or public health experience preferred
Education:
License & Certification:
- Active North Carolina or Compact LPN or RN License in good standing
