Job Responsibilities

Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders.
Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes as appropriate.
Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
Recognize changes in patient needs requiring intervention and implement care.
Comply with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act.
Provide care utilizing infection control measures according to OSHA standards.
Educate the patient and family regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
Participate in educational programs, continued education units, and skill evaluations.

Six months of recent clinical care experience as a Licensed Nurse
Home health experience

Requirements

Experience: Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required

Education: Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing

License & Certification:

Current, unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse
Current CPR certification

Schedule:

Flexible scheduling available; full-time, part-time or PRN
