Pay: $40,903.92 - $60,760.80 (Hourly $19.59 - $29.10)

Shift: Variable hours 7am - 5:30pm Monday through Friday; no weekends, no on call, no holidays

Job Responsibilities

Support the Family Medicine Clinic by spending more time with patients and expanding physician-support and administrative duties.
Accurately document events and decision-making for appropriate medical charting.
Assist providers in full medical and surgical services, including general dermatology care.
Transcribe clinician’s and care team’s encounters with patients in real-time.
Document encounters in sections like problem list, history of present illness, review of systems, physical exam, assessment and plan, procedures performed, patient education, medications, referrals, and self-care instructions.
Perform technical, patient care, and related clerical functions in an ambulatory setting.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant or completion of a recognized one-year Medical Assistant Program.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Skills

Minimum 6 months of ambulatory experience.
Previous EPIC experience.
Ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments and patient populations.
Experience fostering a welcoming and respectful work environment.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 6 months ambulatory experience preferred

Education: Completion of a recognized one-year Medical Assistant Program or related health care profession program

License & Certification:

Certification or registration as a Medical Assistant
