Job Responsibilities

Provide mental health services in accordance with site-specific protocols and standards of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine in long term care facilities.
Ensure high quality clinical experiences treating patients with all adult psychopathologies.
Independently practice while being part of a psychiatric team including MDs, PMHNPs, NPs, and PAs.
Receive supervision from a psychiatrist dedicated to providing time for training, not management.
Participate in monthly case conferences, journal reviews, and annual meetings.
Collaborate with primary care providers and psychotherapists within the same company.
Work as part of a service team alongside a medical assistant partner for scheduling, charting, and administrative duties.
Utilize integrated EHR for all lines of service.
Achieve work-life balance through flexible scheduling and personalized patient care time.

Required Skills

Requirements

Experience:

Education: Masters degree in Nursing or equivalent from an accredited institution or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant educational program

License & Certification:

Current and valid license to practice medicine issued by the state
National certification from the National Commission on Accreditation of Certification of Physician Assistants (for Physician Assistants)
