Job Responsibilities
- Write detailed summary reports for each facility outlining assessment findings and recommendations.
- Test and refine assessment documents and audit tools for hand hygiene, contact precautions, environmental cleaning, and other infection control activities.
- Participate in healthcare-associated outbreak investigations (suspected and confirmed).
- Collaborate with HAI/AR staff and facility teams to develop action plans for gaps identified during assessments.
- Summarize key findings and communicate recommendations to facilities and local health departments.
- Develop, review, revise, and distribute educational resources addressing common infection control issues.
- Teach infection prevention and control practices to local health staff, regional epidemiologists, state epidemiology staff, and healthcare facility staff.
- Implement and deliver Project Frontline training initiatives in healthcare facilities, raising awareness of available education and resources.
- Produce summary reports of training activities, including attendance, feedback, and outcomes.
- Assist with the creation of resource materials and documents for facilities.
- Educate facilities on best practices in infection prevention and control.
- Serve as a resource for facilities and healthcare providers in improving compliance and safety standards.

Requirements
Experience: Four years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience as a registered professional nurse or six years with an Associate degree/diploma.
Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent, or Master's degree in nursing.
License & Certification:
- Current West Virginia license or temporary permit to practice as a registered professional nurse
