Job Responsibilities
- Assess patients and prioritize their needs.
- Create and adjust care plans for better results.
- Regularly assess patient responses.
- Delegate tasks based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
- Help teach patients and staff; integrate education into care at all levels.
- Use strategies and resources to solve problems for patients, families, and staff.
- Contribute to decision-making and recognize others' contributions meaningfully.
Required Skills

- In-depth understanding of nursing and patient care standards and procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- Ability to monitor patients' health and communicate changes efficiently.

- Familiarity with legal, regulatory, and professional standards.

Requirements
Experience: 2 years minimum, Pre-op / Day Surgery experience required.
Education: Accredited program with a major focus or specialization in Nursing.
License & Certification:
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
