Job Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care by utilizing the nursing process.
Incorporate patient-family centered care principles for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and discharging patients.
Provide quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Corewell Health policies and procedures.
Recognize the impact of nursing care and patient/family partnerships on patient outcomes.
Partner with patients/families to utilize their input and goals in planning their plan of care.
Develop teaching strategies for patient/family and document education in health records.

Requirements

Experience: Experience in acute care setting preferred; will consider graduate nurses.

Education: Associates or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing required within 5 years for new graduates with less than 1 year experience.

License & Certification:

MI Registered Nurse (RN) required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire
ACLS within 6 months of hire
TNCC within 1 year of hire
ENPC within 15 months of hire

Schedule:

Variable days worked
Every other weekend
