Use the BSWH nursing model to coordinate patient care.
Assess patients and identify nursing diagnoses.
Develop and implement individualized care plans.
Evaluate patient's responses to plans and modify as needed.
Promote safe passage for patients using knowledge of their needs.
Delegate interventions based on Texas Nursing Practice Act and patient condition.
Conduct accurate assessments according to standards.
Identify and prioritize patient and family needs.
Evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Create a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
Develop therapeutic relationships with patients and maintain boundaries.
Manage emotional and physical pain for patients.
Incorporate patients' cultural, belief, and lifestyle differences into care plans.
Preserve and protect confidentiality, autonomy, dignity, and rights of patients.
Facilitate learning for patients and community regarding health care recommendations.
Work with colleagues to create and implement care plans.

Knowledge of nursing and patient care standards
Understanding of medical terminology
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Communication skills, both verbal and written
General computer skills, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical documentation

Experience: 2 Years of Experience

Education: Grad of an Accredited Program or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
