Job Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care to a designated group of healthcare consumers across the continuum.
- Provide comprehensive services covering spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological aspects of patient care.
- Follow the nursing process which includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
- Collect and analyze healthcare consumer data including psychological, physiological, sociocultural, spiritual, economic, and lifestyle factors.
- Administer medications accurately and safely.
- Ensure accurate and thorough documentation for all patients treated.
- Keep up with Physician orders.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
- Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
- ACLS certification required within 5 months of hire.
- 2 years of Behavioral Health experience.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to travel to multiple metro facilities on short notice.
Requirements
Experience: 2 years of Behavioral Health experience required.
Education: Graduate of an RN nursing program.
License & Certification:
- Active RN licensure
- Basic Life Support
- ACLS certification
