Job Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to patients in the OR and other areas of perioperative services for all patient populations.
- Function as a circulating or scrub nurse as assigned during operative and other invasive procedures.
- Perform job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
- Assist in robotic and general surgery cases.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Perioperative nursing experience
- Ability to work independently
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Skills
- Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR)
- Trauma experience
- Robotic surgery experience
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the specific division being hired into
Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
License & Certification:
- RN licensure in the State of Florida
- Certification of successful completion of an RNFA program that meets AORN standards for RN first assistant education programs
Schedule:
- Full-time schedule with flexible shifts
- Scheduled Days: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
