Position: Out Patient Services RN
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $35.35 to $53.58
Shift: 1:00pm - 9:30pm with some On-Call Required

Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Out Patient Services setting.
- Communicate with physicians, Director of Surgical Services, House Supervisor, and co-workers about changes in the patient’s clinical condition.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Coordinate the care of the patient with the surgeon and/or anesthesiologist.
- Direct and guide other personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Out Patient Department.
- Work with other departments and co-workers to provide quality patient care across the continuum.
- Ensure efficient patient flow and unit maintenance and organization.
- Adhere to regulations, standards, and hospital or unit policies and procedures.
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities, unit meetings, and in-services.
- Act as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current and valid state RN License
- Current BLS (AHA) certification
- ACLS certification within 30 days of hire
- PALS certification within 30 days of hire
- Moderate Sedation competency completed within 30 days of hire
Preferred Skills
- Previous acute care hospital experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
