Job Responsibilities

Assistance in the management of the day-to-day clinical operations of the community.
Maintain compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure continuity and consistency in delivery and quality of resident services.
Assist in training and development of staff, development and implementation of programs to enhance resident satisfaction.
Establish a climate necessary for continuous improvement.

Required Skills

Core Skills

Current Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current certification in adult CPR
3 years of experience in nursing, preferably as an Assistant DON or RN Unit Manager in geriatric nursing
Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding long-term care

Preferred Skills

Medicare and Medicaid knowledge
LTC Management Experience
Excellent clinical evaluation skills
2+ years of experience as an RN, preferably in long-term care

Requirements

Experience: 3 years of experience, preferably as an Assistant DON or RN Unit Manager; 2+ years as an RN with one year in long-term care preferred.
