Job Title: Licensed Clinician - Emergency Services

Position: Clinician responsible for crisis intervention and mental health support

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: $66,380 + $85,000+ (starting salary depends on education and relevant experience)

Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

Complete pre-admission screening and crisis intervention to the 24-hour Emergency Services Unit and the CIT Assessment Center
Complete risk assessments to determine the appropriate level of care using the least restrictive alternative to manage crises
Advocate for individuals requiring inpatient treatment, crisis stabilization, or detox services
Consult with magistrate regarding TDOs and ECOs to promote safety of individuals and the community
Maintain documentation in electronic health record in compliance with agency quality assurance standards
Provide 30-day crisis interventions to individuals who may require short-term solution-focused interventions
Coordinate admissions to hospitals and other outpatient treatment options
Represent CIBH in commitment hearings
Work closely with law enforcement to triage mental health crises in the community
Use DSM-V-TR to formulate diagnoses
Complete crisis assessments and treatment plans
Perform other related duties as assigned

Experience: Minimum of two years of related, full-time equivalent experience

Education: Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a closely related field

Schedule:

40 hours per week in a 24 hour program, may work hours in excess of normally scheduled hours in response to short-term needs
