Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the proper administration of care to residents
- Obtain and administer prescribed medications and treatments according to approved nursing techniques
- Observe residents, record significant conditions and reactions
- Notify supervisor, family, and physician of changes in resident's condition
- Take vital signs to assess resident's condition
- Administer appropriate disciplinary action for nursing staff non-compliance with regulations and policies
- Modify resident care plans, care directives, and Aide flow sheets based on resident condition changes
Required Skills

- Demonstrated knowledge of nursing process
- Experience with geriatric care
- Knowledge of long-term care and rehabilitation

Experience:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
