Complete nursing assessment accurately and timely in accordance with practice standards.
Develop and implement the plan of care reflecting the needs and goals of the patient.
Provide, evaluate, and modify nursing care to achieve goals and objectives.
Complete patient care documentation per established standards.
Administer medications safely and according to professional nursing policies and procedures.
Transcribe or acknowledge doctors' orders as needed and carry them out as directed.
Coordinate nursing care activities in collaboration with other care team members.
Assess patient education needs and provide information related to disease process, medications, and discharge preparation.
Provide mentoring and teaching for healthcare team members as needed.
Participate actively in team conferences and meetings to achieve stated goals.
Complete additional department, organizational, or network activities per established objectives.

Effective verbal, electronic, and written communication skills in English.
Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to maintain a variable work schedule (evenings, nights, holidays, weekends).

Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.

License & Certification:

Current license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
