Job Responsibilities
- Oversee pre/post transplant clinical activities.
- Educate patients on procedures.
- Educate nursing staff and colleagues.
- Participate in activities for professional growth.
- Ensure compliance and participate in quality initiatives.
- Adapt behavior to specific patient populations.
- Monitor certain patients and manage outpatient clinics.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Knowledge of pre-transplant, post-transplant, and inpatient transplant clinical practice.
- Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) through the American Board of Transplant Certification.
Requirements
Experience: 3 years of related experience with associate degree or 2 years related experience with a bachelor's degree.
Education: Registered nurse diploma required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
License & Certification:
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
