Job Responsibilities
- Accountable for the care of a group of patients.
- Focus on safe effective patient and family centered care.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and quality outcomes.
- Assist in maintaining a financially stable unit.
- Promote individual development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.
- Supervise licensed and non-licensed staff members.
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care using the Kristin M. Swanson Model of Care.
- Focus on patient and family comforts, education, and satisfaction.
- Apply educational and professional experiences in the delivery of quality care and mentoring/precepting staff.
- Complete the RN Credentialing & Privileging Process as outlined in the appropriate policy and procedure.
