Job Responsibilities
- Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with the healthcare team and the patient/family.
- Identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
- Promote optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through the nursing process.
- Adhere to patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- RN License
- Nursing skills and knowledge specific to unit type/specialty area
- BLS from the American Heart Association
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Requirements
Experience: 12 to 24 months of experience in unit type/specialty area depending on position type
Education: Nursing Diploma or Associates Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
License & Certification:
- RN License
- BLS Certification
