Job Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.
- Perform scrub and circulating functions.
- Prepare the OR, surgical instruments, and equipment for use.
Required Skills
Core Skills
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) within six months of hire
Preferred Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program
Requirements
Experience: One year of RN experience OR completion of Cleveland Clinic’s Perioperative Residency Program
Education: Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN program)
License & Certification:
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
