Job Responsibilities
- Support the Nurse Manager with supervisory duties and accountability for 24/7 operations of ICU units.
- Provide coverage for other ANMs as needed.
- Participate in the development of care delivery models and environmental design.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
- Align nursing/clinical objectives with organizational strategic outcomes.
- Promote an inclusive workplace valuing diversity.
- Complete orientation according to expected standards.
- Manage workload as assigned and complete assignments efficiently.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Establish therapeutic relationships with patients for optimal function.
- Engage patients, families, and caregivers to incorporate their knowledge into care planning.
- Follow ethical guidelines established by the practice setting and nursing codes.
- Demonstrate positive communication skills promoting teamwork.
- Participate in unit-based educational activities and maintain competency.
- Apply evidence-based practice to patient care.
- Engage in activities to improve cost-effective patient care.
Required Skills

Preferred Skills
- 3-5 years of ICU experience
- BLS/ACLS certification
- National certification in nursing

Requirements
Experience: 3-5 years of ICU experience preferred
Education: Graduate of a school of professional nursing; BSN preferred
License & Certification:
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse
Schedule:
- 0630 - 1600 with rotating evening and weekend shifts
COVID-19 Requirements: Participation in the seasonal influenza vaccination program is required
